As we know big international companies rule the world. Google tries to help small blogs and enthusiastic sites so everybody has a chance to break out of poverty with costant or imaginativ/ lucky work.
At the age of 33, I want peaceful life. Family, work and self-actualization.
Who cares about you? Google should be a friend of yours but your need REAL friends and physical contants to live a good life (long term). Searching effective accommodation partner programs for use, home-based businesses, bloggers or popular websites.

We wrote about hotelscombined.com and booking.com first. We have to write about HRS.COM (hrs.de) and IAN.COM – Expedia now (http://www.expediaaffiliate.com). We need your help for these reviews. We do not have enough experiences about them. We could tip or bet . I hope they reach 0,5% in conversion rates so we can calculate with them.

I liked to use other online hotel booking system earlier. E.g.: http://www.hotel.info, http://www.easytobook.com, http://www.travelocity.com, http://www.hotelclub.com or http://www.octopustravel.com …

Most of them have nice affiliate programs. Which one is the best for Niche or International markets?

Who cares about you?

+ They protect their brand extremly hard sometimes. It sounds too much in 2010.
- They are not very flexible and innovative. That’s all. We are expecting a much more flexible and sophisticated automatic commission distribution system. Direct oration, plain speech, fairly fair play!

- Bad reality: when my visitor do not include my unique affiliate ID number in the link to Booking.com we won’t get any commission for bookings made via this link. They remember only the brand BOOKING.COM, it is absolutely normal. It could happen every day.

+ Good vision: we are lucky if we have a lot of instant bookings. They could pay extra for good partners for this kind of “free advertising”. They have a very profitable business so they could manage it in the near future. This is donation and fairness together.

Their usability is good enough so we can recommend to join the affiliate system without any stupid doubt in 2010.

+ Payments are made on a monthly basis, 30-60 days after the bookings have been finalised.
+ Working with iframes and white label implementation can solve some problems.
+ 0,5-2 % – These percentages in conversions are good enough to attract entrepreneurs, bloggers.

They had suspended my account and denied the payment of commission and they reopened it later and payed for me.

A HotelsCombined affiliate e-mail:

“We suspended your account because your traffic quality was very poor.  It took a long time to identify this, because your traffic volumes were so low too.  This means that you have very little traffic, and what you do have is very poor quality.

Note that we compare 30+ different providers, so booking.com and HRS form only a very tiny part of our hotel inventory.

If you really want to repair your relationship with us, I strongly suggest you focus on sending good quality traffic to your remaining Affiliate Links.  This is the only way to get your Affiliate account out of its suspended state, by generating some real revenue for us.

I knew some SEO experts, they were very tricky and they could send huge amount of traffic to HotelsCombined in 2009. I do not use these kind of tricks. I have very nice travel blogs with good conversions rates. I prefer booking.com affiliate system (~1%).
